Jake Sims has more than six years of commercial and multi-family electrical experience. He has exceptional attention to detail and project management skills. Jake often leads our special projects involving LED fixture conversion, controls and the like.

John is an exceptional and skilled electrician and foreman.
He is skilled in all phases of electrical construction whether residential, multi-residential or commercial.
An excellent communicator, John is adept at relating to crew members, supervision and general contractors.
He is our positive motivator on the team! In his spare time, John enjoys spending quality time with his family.
As estimator, Jose, analyzes the costs of and prepares estimates on the electrical division of proposed construction projects.
Jose is also the point of contact on several of DM Electrical’s maintenance contracts, i.e., City of Houston, Houston Independent School District and Target Corporation.
On select projects estimated by Jose and awarded to DME, he also acts as project manager.
In his spare time, Jose leads several ministries at his church, and enjoys spending time with his family.
Mr. Carl, as the crew calls him, is our senior foreman trusted to bring any project successfully to fruition. He is a key leader on our commercial projects.
Mr. Carl has a wealth of experience in all phases of electrical construction from underground to trim-out, which makes his knowledge base indispensable.
When he is not on the job site, Mr. Carl can often be found making a difference with his church family.
Alejo has more than 10 years of experience. His leadership on commercial projects is stellar. Even with ground-up, new construction projects, it is common for Alejo to finish a job with zero or very few punch list items.
Alejo is very involved with our electrical maintenance contracts and new construction jobs.
He enjoys family time, and traveling.
With nearly 10 years of experience, Reyes brings a wealth of experience in the planning and installation of electrical systems.
Reyes has a keen eye for excellence, as he works to bring DM Electrical’s projects to a successful and safe completion, within budget and according to schedule.

Ms. Sims has more than 8 years of experience in office administration and is a core member of our team working behind the scenes.

Margo is operations VP. She has more than 25 years’ experience in project management, small business development, business start-up and brand engagement. Margo manages business develop (researching and identifying bid opportunities, preparing bids for submission, follow-up, and overseeing contract administration with DME legal counsel); handles change order administration; manages human resource activities; oversees the finances with DME’s CPA; seeks and manages strategic relations; manages all of DME’s communications (website development and update, business plan writing/updates, PR, business documentation); material ordering and logistics; corresponds with project managers, general contractors, owners and suppliers; and ensures DME employees and the company maintains its licenses, training, and stays ahead of the curve on the latest technological advances in the electrical industry.
She has completed studies in English and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas and the University of Phoenix, respectively. She is originally from Chicago, was raised in Ohio, and has made her home in Houston for the past 30+ years. She enjoys family, cooking, sports and community service. Margo is a member of the DM Electrical MS 150 team which bikes annually to Austin from Houston to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis.
David brings more than 30 years of electrical estimating, design, installation and maintenance experience on industrial, commercial and multi-residential projects. He believes a key to his success has been in his ability to recruit, train and retain quality talent. David graduated from electrical trade school in the late 1970’s. He completed an electrical apprenticeship program with the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC). In 1983, he received his Journeyman License in just three years after excelling in course and project work.
David earned his Master Electrician License in 2006. Over the past 30 years, David has completed electrical construction projects ranging in value from $1 million to $10 million. With strengths in safety assurance, integrity, collaboration, and on-budget and on-time adherence he has a diverse electrical project portfolio.
A resident of Texas since 1980, David was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio.
He is a 1979 graduate of South High School in Springfield, Ohio. He has completed courses in Operations Management and Analysis at Ashford University. David enjoys athletics including cycling and basketball, fishing and family.
